Hurst Announces New Quick/Stick Shifter for 2001 PT Cruiser

Cleveland, Ohio (September 2001) Hurst announces the availability of a
new Quick/Stick Shifter, part number 391 4030, designed for the 2001
Chrysler PT Cruiser with 5-speed manual transmission. This Quick/Stick
Shifter provides a shorter and quicker shift by reducing the knob travel
by approximately 30%. Manufactured from CNC-machined billet steel, and
heat-treated for ultimate strength, this shifter is complete with the
traditional Hurst chrome-plated handle and white classic knob. Urethane
bushings for the mounting bracket eliminate flex providing a more
positive and secure feel when shifting. Other features include positive
gear stops to prevent over-shifting and the bolt-on stick allows the
driver a choice of optional stick selection for personal preference.
