New Texas Teen Driving Law At AAA Texas Annual Teen

WHAT: "Breaking the Cycle 2002," the 2nd Annual Teen Summit/Teen
Volunteer Fair, will feature a teen driving presentation by Anne
O'Ryan of AAA Texas. She will speak to Arlington teens about the
new teen Graduated Driver License Law for Texas. O'Ryan is public
and government relations manager for AAA Texas, who along with a
coalition of community groups, spearheaded the campaign to pass
the new teen Graduated Driver-License Law.
WHERE: Juan Seguin High School, 7001 Silo Road, Arlington.

Start: 10 AM
WHY: The teen summit offers topical presentations to teens on issues
of interest and concern to them like teen-age driving, drugs and
alcohol-use prevention, and peer acceptance. Booths also will be
set up at the fair by local nonprofit agencies to offer teens
volunteer opportunity information. "Breaking the Cycle 2002," the
2nd Annual Teen Summit/Teen Volunteer Fair, is sponsored by the
City of Arlington's Youth and Families Board.
