the Intellivalve, a wireless monitoring system
that allows a driver to sit in the car and check
air pressure in each tire.

The Intellivalve system consists of a digital
monitor that sits on the dashboard and wireless
air valve transmitters in each wheel.

A glance at the monitor instantly informs the driver
of the air pressure and temperature of each tire.  It
also gives an audio warning if tire pressure is below or
above the recommended levels.

Underinflated tires wear out more quickly and are
subject to heat stress that can cause blowouts.  According
to recent studies nearly half of all vehicles on the road have
at least one underinflated tire. Properly inflated tires can
improve gas mileage significantly.
