The DB9 sets new standards in its class because of its astonishing combination of agility, V-12 power, advanced technology and hand craftsmanship. Key Aston Martin features incorporated into the DB9 include the distinctive Grille, side strakes and clean, crisp, uncluttered lines. The interior wood trim looks structural, elegant as in the design of top line furniture. One of the interior designer's favorite features is the clear glass starter button. The Aston Martin logo is sand etched in, turns red when the ignition is on and afterwards changes to light blue. Instrument pack is mixed with high-tech organic electroluminescent display (an auto industry first), is particularly attractive and innovative. All dials are made from aluminum with microperforations that allow the warning lights to illuminate through. On hand will be information about the state-of-the-art ICE system. Developed by Scottish-based Hi Fi experts Linn, it includes its own amplifier and speakers that are specially designed for the DB9. It also benefits from the DB9's high quality fibre optic electronics, which pass signals with total clarity. The top-of-the-range 950W Linn Hi Fi system uses 10 speakers and a 200W woofer controlled by an in-built accelerometer that even compensates for changes of pressure in the car's interior. Also on site will be a unique exhibit of auto photos, "Aston Martin Meets Art," by some of the most recognized names in automotive photography.
