Nissan Announces Pricing on All-New 2005 Frontier Pickup

The 2005 Frontier will be offered in four trim levels -- XE (King Cab only), SE, LE and NISMO. Frontier features a competitive base Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $15,500 on the 4-cylinder King Cab XE 2WD. A step up to the SE model and higher trims gets the most powerful V6 engine in any truck. The Frontier King Cab SE 2WD starts at a MSRP of $18,400. The LE 2WD model begins at a MSRP of $22,200 and is the most luxurious offering, with options that include a leather-trimmed interior.
The NISMO Frontier is Frontier's off-road trim, with a starting MSRP of $22,000 for the King Cab 2WD. Drawing on Nissan's extensive motorsports and off-road racing history, the new NISMO Frontier model was developed in conjunction with engineers from NISMO, Nissan's Motorsports group. This new truck offers an extensive list of performance-oriented parts, including off-road tuned Bilstein® performance shocks, skid plates and unique 16-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with aggressive BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A P265/75R16 off-road tires.

The completely rebuilt Nissan Frontier pickup has more than a passing resemblance to the recently introduced Nissan Titan full-size pickup. Along with its modern, rugged styling, the all-new Frontier shares a number of significant features with Titan, including its suspension design, innovative available factory-applied spray-in bedliner, available Utili-track bed channel tie-down system and fully boxed, all-steel frame based on Titan's F-Alpha platform.
Along with the solid foundation provided by the F-Alpha truck platform, the Frontier features a newly designed 4.0-liter DOHC V6 with more V6 power than any other pickup -- 265 horsepower and 284 lb-ft of torque -- and a choice of 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive with advanced off-road technology including available 4-wheel limited slip.
