FERRARI CLUB OF AMERICA SPONSORS CONCORSO FERRARI Memorial Weekend Event to Feature Driving Tour and Rare Ferrari Display Proceeds Benefit The California Highway Patrol 11-99 Foundation LOS ANGELES--May 3, 2005—The Ferrari Club of America, Southwest Region (FCA-SW) is pleased to announce two exciting Memorial Weekend events for Ferrari owners and fans. On Sunday, May 29, 2005 from 10-4 PM the FCA-SW will host the Exclusive Ferrari Concours. The event will feature over 100 rare Ferraris on display, including the new F430 Spider and is the only annual Southern California Concours exclusively honoring Ferraris. Judging will take place using 10 classes of Ferraris, including early Ferraris (some with racing history), 50s, 60s, and 70s Production V12 cars as well as Contemporary cars from the v12 through the F430. One of the highlights of the day includes the presentment of the proceeds resulting from an earlier auction of a new F430 Spider to the 11-99 Foundation, a charitable non-profit organization to provide benefits to California Highway Patrol employees and their families. “We are thrilled to be able to gather some of the finest Ferraris in the world for this amazing weekend,” said Marvin Landon, Chairperson of the Ferrari Club of America Southwest Region. The Concours is free to the public and will take place on Century City’s Constellation Boulevard at Avenue of the Stars. The Sunday Concours follows a members-only Paramount Ranch Driving Tour on Saturday, May 28, 2005. The ranch will be the end lunch point of a scenic drive from Rancho Park through Beverly Hills, along Pacific Coast Highway and on the Mulholland Highway through the Santa Monica Mountains.
