Angela Coletti, Megan Liefer Join Nissan Regional Communications Team
GARDENA, Calif.--Oct. 3, 20051, 2005--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) announced today that Angela Coletti has joined NNA as Corporate Communications Manager-Midwest Region, based in Farmington Hills, Mich. Angela replaces Katherine Zachary, who has assumed the role of Manager, Corporate Communications, NNA.Angela joins Nissan from Ford Motor Co., where over the last five years she has held a variety of responsibilities in the public affairs department, including managing several North American product launches. Her tenure at Ford also included experience in the marketing and sales divisions, specifically as a zone manager for the Memphis region and in motor sports marketing. Prior to Ford, she worked at Porter Novelli in Los Angeles on the Nissan account. Angela received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan with a dual B.A. in Economics and Communications and currently is pursuing an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Additionally, Megan Liefer joins Nissan's regional team as Corporate Communications Manager for the Western Region. Megan has been with Nissan for more than four years, holding various positions. Most recently, she was part of the Infiniti PR team and participated in the launch of the all-new 2006 Infiniti M. Megan is a graduate of Pepperdine University, where she received her B.A. in Communications.
Both Angela and Megan will report to Katherine Zachary. Their responsibilities focus on media relations, representing both public affairs and product-related issues. The additions of Angela and Megan strengthen NNA's growing regional public relations presence.
