Chicago College Students Embark on National Road Trip for Charity Challenge
Chicago Residents Invited to Attend Kick-off Event
What: What do a Russian speaking sorority girl, a jazz studies major and
an aspiring broadcast journalist all have in common? They're all
Northwestern University (NU) students who will be representing
Chicago and competing against student teams from Boston College and
Texas Christian University in the Dodge High Caliber Challenge.
On Monday, June 5, Chicago residents are invited to send off the
three students from NU as they kick-off their five-day charity road
trip challenge in the all-new 2007 Dodge Caliber from their
collegiate town of Chicago. Dodge will give away 500 free music
downloads from Global Music Project to raise $10,000 for Doctors
Without Borders.
The event will entail:
-- Music Downloads - Beginning in Chicago, the NU team will visit
an additional three cities on their way to Miami where they will
give away 500 free music downloads from
http://www.globalmusicproject.org/ at each local event
-- A Donation - For each song downloaded in Chicago, Dodge will
donate $1 to Doctors Without Borders on the team's behalf
-- School Spirit - Everyone who attends can show their support for
the Chicago team by decorating their Dodge Caliber with good
luck notes and well wishes
