AUBURN CORD DUESENBERG MUSEUM Final Cars Added to First Annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Benefit Extravaganza Live Automotive Auction AUBURN - The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum has announced the final cars to be offered at its live automobile auction during the First Annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Benefit Extravaganza. A 1924 Duesenberg Model A Touring Car, a 1920 Kissel Model 45 Center-Door Tourister and a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible will round out the offerings at this year's first annual event. Other cars to be offered at low reserve during the auction will be a 1929 Chrysler Imperial Roadster, 1937 Cord 812 Beverly Sedan and a 1937 Cord 812 Supercharged Phaeton. A 1930 Auburn Speedster and a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Bicentennial Convertible at NO RESERVE! Bill Parfet will serve as the celebrity auctioneer and will be accompanied by celebrity ringmen Robert Pass, Ed Herrmann, Dean Kruse and Ed Lucas as color commentator. The cars offered at the museum benefit are not part of the museum's permanent collection. The benefit will take place in one of the finest classic car museums in the world, the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum on Thursday, August 31 at 6 p.m. Other evening activities include drinks, hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet dinner, live music, after-hours museum touring, a silent auction, and a live auction including automotive art featuring premium pieces from the nation's finest automobile artists. The First Annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum Benefit Extravaganza will be an evening that classic car enthusiasts will not want to miss. The not-for-profit Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum is located in the restored 1930 art deco administrative building of the former Auburn Automobile Company. The museum displays 120 classic, antique, vintage and special interest cars in eight galleries.
