0.630-second ahead of Jeff Gordon to win the 1996 Goody's Headache Powders
500. Mark Martin started from the Busch Pole, his fourth straight at Bristol
Motor Speedway, and led the first nine laps, but he wouldn't lead again.
Wallace dominated the evening, leading four times for 353 laps to earn his
sixth career win at Bristol.
