                     SAUTER EXCITED ABOUT RICHMOND
 
 
RICHMOND, VA - This year at the Virginia Is For Lovers 200 NASCAR truck race 
in Richmond, Va., the No. 3 GM Goodwrench Service Plus truck will be driven 
by Jay Sauter. Last year at Richmond International Raceway, the No. 3 team 
started second and won the race. 

 - Sauter is currently eighth in the NASCAR Truck Series points standings. 

 - During the 19th NASCAR Truck Series race at Watkins Glen Int'l, the No. 3 
team started 28th and finished 12th.

 - This will be the first time Sauter has raced at Richmond International 
Raceway.

"This will be my first time to race at Richmond," commented Sauter. "I have 
tested a cup car there once. I loved the track and the facility. It's one of 
the best in the country.

"I think it will be a lot of fun to race with other trucks," said Sauter. "I 
have never been on the track with another car or truck to know how they will 
react with one another.

"I have watched the races on T.V. and that's about the extent of my knowledge 
of what it is like to compete at Richmond," commented Sauter.
