- Mark Green and the Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team return to Dover
Downs International Speedway with the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo
named 'Stanley'.
- "We are racing the same car, 'Stanley', which we raced here in the spring
and qualified 12th fastest with, but are bringing a much better setup," said
Green, an Owensboro, Kentucky resident. "Brewco Motorsports has grown a bunch
as a team since May. We've learned some things about our cars in the past few
races which makes them a whole lot easier to drive."
- The MBNA 200 will be the last race of the 1997 season for 'Stanley'. The
car, one of Mark's favorite, will be used as a backup for the remainder of the
season.
- The Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team is already hard at work preparing
the No. 37 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Mark Green will drive in the 1998 season
opener at Daytona International Speedway in February.
- "The cars we are planning to race in the final four races of 1997 are
complete, so we started to prepare for 1998," said team manager Todd
Wilkerson. "We removed the body on the Daytona car last week and it is in the
process of getting a new, sleeker body hung on it."
- Mark Green attended the grand opening of the new NASCAR Thunder store in
Louisville, Kentucky on September 12. The Kentucky native signed autographs
and greeted the hundreds of NASCAR fans who attended the gala event.
- Shore Stop is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet
Monte Carlo for the MBNA 200 at Dover Downs International Speedway.
