JEFF GREEN NOTES & QUOTES: DURA-LUBE 500 PRESENTED BY KMART
PHOENIX, AZ - The #29 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that Jeff Green will pilot this
weekend is the same car that he utilized in September at Martinsville Speedway
and both races this year at New Hampshire International Speedway.
- Although Green has never competed at Phoenix International Raceway, he
feels confident about his performance given the characteristics of the track.
"Phoenix is a flat track, which typically suits my driving style" said Green.
- Jeff Green has recently started sporting a beard. This is a yearly ritual
that Green conducts during hunting season. Green recently spent several days
deer hunting at his cabin outside his hometown of Owensboro, Ky.
- On Thursday afternoon, October 30, Jeff Green, Wes Ward and the road crew
on the #29 Cartoon Network team will ride ATV's in the desert north of
Phoenix. The expedition will ride through canyons, over old river beds and
visit a waterfall.
