CART: Moore Leads the CART Fed EX Championship (Standings Attached)

Greg Moore, the youngest winner in the history of the CART Fed Ex Championship series is the leading the championship for the first time in his career. Moore, of Cananda, leads the defending CART champion Alex Zanardi by a single point.

The CART stars head to Brazil for the race number five on the 19 race championship schedule. The race in Brazil will mark the final race for long time competitor Hiro Matsushita of Japan. Robbie Gordon, who has been concentrating on other forms of racing for the past two seasons, will fill the seat to be vacated by Matsushita. Gordon drove for Matsushita in Nazareth and gave the struggling Toyota power plant its highest finish in its short three year CART history.
