It's been a dozen years since the Trans-Am and Can-Am names were
featured on the same ticket (Mosport Park, 1986), and this weekend
continues a new era in North American motorsports as the "modern"
Can-Am Championship-now competing under the USRRC banner-and the NTB
Trans-Am are once again teamed. This week will be the second of three
1998 venues featuring both the NTB Trans-Am and Can-Am (Homestead, May
16-17; Minneapolis, June 27-28).
