Bud Shootout Results - Martin Wins

7 February 1999

Mark Martin drove his No. 6 Valvoline Cummins Ford into victory lane at Daytona International Speedway today. Martin won the Bud Shootout dash for cash with a .251 second margin over Kenny Schrader in the No. 33 Skoal Chevrolet. Bobby Labonte and Mike Skinner followed with Jeremy Mayfield trailing to round out the top five.

Skinner advanced to the Shootout after winning the qualifying race in his No. 31 Lowe's Chevy.
