Chrysler Revises National Consumer Incentives Program

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Oct. 7 -- Chrysler Corporation
is extending its national consumer incentives program, which offers cash
allowances or reduced interest rate financing to buyers of certain 1997 and
1998 models.
    For most of the vehicles affected, the program is extended through
January 5, 1998.  There are no changes in the amounts of the cash allowances
available under the program.
    Here is a summary of the cash allowances available.  As an alternative,
reduced interest rate financing is available on some of the models, as
indicated.
