Hyundai Motor America Posts Incentives

    FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 6 -- Hyundai Motor America
today announced a $1,000 incentive on all MY 1998 vehicles.  Additionally, the
following incentives were announced on MY 1997 vehicles.  These incentives
will extend through March 31, 1998.

              1997 Models

     Elantra                $2,000
     Elantra Wagon          $2,000
     Tiburon                $2,000
     Sonata                 $2,000
     Accent Base            $1,000
     Accent GL/GS           $1,500
     Accent GT              $2,000

    Details of all incentive programs and eligibility requirements are
available from some 500 Hyundai dealers nationwide.
