    In a major defeat General Motors has lost two attempts to block
Hollywood Florida Judge Arthur Franza's intention to make public GM documents
believed to reveal that GM and its lawyers conspired to cover up a GM decision
to do nothing in the face of knowledge that its fuel tanks can burst into
flames in crashes.  Judge Franza is expected to release the documents Tuesday,
February 17, 1998
