Ace Auto Parts Did Not File Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

The Parts Source, Inc. d/b/a Ace Auto Parts: Correction Of A Misprint By The Tampa Tribune, A Local Newspaper

    CLEARWATER, Fla., March 30 -- The Tampa Tribune erroneously
reported in the Saturday, March 28, 1998 edition of the business section that
The Parts Source, Inc. d/b/a Ace Auto Parts had filed Chapter
11 Bankruptcy in February of 1998, when in fact it was a supplier of the
Company, not Ace Auto Parts, who had filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.
    The Tampa Tribune printed the correction in the Sunday, March 29, 1998
edition of the Metro section.
    For the year ended December 31, 1997, Ace Auto Parts reported
approximately $9.7 million of equity and $40 million in revenues.
