Kia Has Best September Sales Month Ever

    IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 1 -- Kia Motors America today announced
September sales of 7,355 vehicles, its highest September sales since the
company began selling cars in 1994.  The September sales total represents the
latest accomplishment in an already prosperous sales year for Kia, as
reflected by Kia's year-to-date sales nearly doubling those of last year.
    Kia is in the midst of its market-by-market roll-out, which will culminate
in a national dealer network by the end of 1998.
