The Detroit Child Safety Seat Checkpoint Clinic May Just Save Your Child's Life on December 12
DETROIT, Dec. 9 -- Ford Motor Company, AAA Michigan,
Riverside Ford, Inc., McDonald's, Kmart and the City of Detroit Police and
Fire Departments have joined together for the sole purpose of educating
parents and child caregivers on the proper use of child safety restraints in
vehicles.
Federally trained and certified technicians will be available on Saturday,
December 12 at Riverside Ford, Inc. at 1833 E. Jefferson in Downtown Detroit
from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. to help the parents of Detroit learn how to properly
place children in the back seat and how to properly install and use child
safety seats in vehicles. Motorists are invited to stop by for a free
inspection.
