Norton Motorcycles Announces Dealers and Distributors and Motorcycle Development Progress
MINNEAPOLIS -- Norton Motorcycles, Inc. continues on track to launch a line
of high performance motorcycles.
Norton announced that it has selected fourteen distributors worldwide. The
distributors are located as follows: ten in Europe, one in Asia, two in the

network in the United States and has appointed its initial seven dealers. John
Fiebelkorn, Norton's Managing Director of Sales and Marketing, stated that
Norton's strategy was to partner only with dealers and distributors that could
deliver outstanding service to Norton's retail customers. He added that each
of these organizations meets that requirement. Norton also reported that when
complete, the Norton distribution network will be comprised of approximately
fifty U.S. dealers and twenty international distributors.
The Company also reported that the V-8 Nemesis engine had generated
170 brake horsepower (BHP) at 7,700 revolutions per minute (RPMs). The
V-8 engine is targeted for horsepower exceeding 200 BHP at 12,000 RPMs. Al
Melling, owner of Norton's independent engineering and design firm, stated
that the recent test results point to achievement of the brake horsepower
