Honda Motor Company Leads the Industry with 3 Residual Value Awards
Automotive Lease Guide (ALG) Announces Model Year 1999
Residual Value Award Winners
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., July 19 -- Automotive Lease Guide, the
automotive industry's benchmark for residual value forecasting, today
announced the inaugural Residual Value Awards. The award honors automobiles
that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price.
Heading the list is Honda Motor Company (Accord, Odyssey, and TL), with
three winners, followed by Toyota Motor Company (Tacoma, RX 300) and General
Motors (K1500 Silverado, Suburban) with two award winners each. Other award
winners include Volkswagen's New Beetle, Porsche's Boxster, and
DaimlerChrysler's CLK.

is a privately held company that has been forecasting automotive residual
values for the 35 years in the US and Canada.
