Auction Head Tells Automotive Writers of Investment Cars of the Future

           Craig Jackson, president of Barrett-Jackson Auction Company,
           believes the current boom in popularity and value of American
           "muscle" cars and foreign sports cars will continue.

           He also will disclose his thoughts on what might be the collectible cars of the
           future to the Motor Press Guild (MPG), one of the country's largest
           groups of automotive journalists and industry leaders, based in
           Los Angeles.

           The booming market in American muscle cars and foreign sports cars
           has been in progress for some time.  Barrett-Jackson Auctions has
           been a part of it, having been on the scene for almost 30 years
           (their first auction was in 1971 in Scottsdale, Arizona, their
           headquarters).  Celebrities and wealthy collectors have done well
           buying these cars, which can appreciate quite rapidly.

           Barrett-Jackson's most recent event in Monaco saw $5.6 million in
           cars sold, while its premier event last January in Scottsdale drew
           a spectator crowd of more than 140,000 and saw $23 million worth of
           vehicles auctioned off.
